ארבעה בנים

In class today we learnt about the four sons from the haggadah that you read on the seder night.  The four sons are the wicked one, the simple one, the wise one, and the one who does not know how to ask a question. The four sons also have lines these are the lines of each son The wicked one one asks: “what does this ritual mean to you?”  The simple one asks:”What is all this?” The wise one asks: “What is the meaning of the laws and traditions God has commanded?” as for the one who does not know how to ask, you should open the discussion for him as it is written: “and you shall explain to to your child on that day, ‘It is because of what the lord did for me when I came out of egypt.” Morah marina told us to relate to which son you think is the most like you. I think I’m the simple one becuase I’m still learning and young.  I’m pretty simple I won’t go into huge detail or do rocket science so that’s why I think i’m the simple one.  There are many other reasons why I think i’m the simple one.  Like for example when people are talking about really confusing stuff like rocket science or politics they always have to simplify for me.  There’s also the wise one and I think I’m a bit like him because I’m pretty smart.  I’m not like the evil one because I’m not that evil.  I also know how to ask a question so I’m not like the boy who does not know how to ask a question. This is a picture that I drew of each child תם means simple רשה means wicked חכם means wise and שאיני יודה לשאול means the one who does not know how to ask.
