In parasha Ki tisa moshe’s people where doubting his return to they asked aharon (Moshe’s brother) if he could build them a golden calf so they could feel safe.  He thought this was a terrible idea but he had a plan: his plan  was to ask them all for there earrings so that could waste time and while they where handing over there kgold earrings moshe would return. So when he told the people this they suprisingle agreed.  While they where handing over there gold earrings moshe did not return so aharon fulfilled his promise and melted down the gold and created a golden calf.  God saw this and was furious.  He told moshe that he was going to destroy all of the people but moshe told him to wait; He said that he was going to go down there and see what was happening with his own eyes.  When he got to the bottom of har sinai he saw all the people praying and making peace offerings to the golden calf.  This sight enraged him and out of pure anger he shattered the two tablets into pieces.

This relates to my last post talking about my character traits. In that post I talked about how my character traits link to moshe’s.  I was talking about how I’m calm and not at the same time and how before moshe saw the people dancing around praying and making offerings to the golden calf he was enraged and broke them into piece but before that he was calm so that’s the end. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Today was innovation day. It was very fun and we had to make something related to a renewable energy source. My group chose hydro electricity. We made a water wheel and a tri-fold.  Here’s our project:

As you can see we have some things on our tri-fold so here are our topics

 

                 Problem

 At the beginning we wanted to make a water wheel that could power something. We were scrambling for days trying to find a good model to make. Finally we settled on a good model. But we had to order things from India. Our original model was going to be a DC motor attached to a water wheel. Then we wanted to add a motion sensor to sense when the water wheel was moving and that would turn on a light. but we didn’t have the right materials so we had to completely restart so we settled on this water-powered ferris wheel.

 

                                        Hypothesis 

We thought  that a water wheel would spin but the light bulb might not light up or would  probably malfunction somehow. We thought that we wouldn’t even use it -which ended up happening

 

       What Is Water Energy

 

Hydroelectric energy, also called hydroelectric power or hydroelectricity, is a form of energy that harnesses the power of water in motion—such as water flowing over a waterfall—to generate electricity. People have used this force for millennia.

 

That’s just a few of many of our topics and there are many more.

 

In conclusion I really like doing the innovation day project and it was really fun making a water wheel.

Today in class we did this game called fraction matcher.  Basicaly you just match these images of fractions and theree are multiple levels that are really fun.  But it’s not just levels there are also two modes which are normal fractions and also mixed fractions which are a form of improper fractions.

 

I think I am calm but super not calm at the same time

I have a few character traits I need to improve like yapping I yap way too much.

I think my character traits that relate to the parasha are i’m calm but not like when moshe broke the 10 commandments tablets because before that he was calm then he just lost his chill and went balistic.

Today we started doing a fractions review unit. I learnt that there are 4 types of fractions:

zero fractions, Improper fractions, whole fractions and proper fractions

here are some examples of what these fractions are.  A zero fraction is where the bottom number is zero.  An improper fraction is where the denominator is smaller than the numerator. a whole fraction is where the denominator is the same as the numerator. ayy what’s good y’all?  Today we are starting our innovation day project!  me and my are thinking of making something involving hydro power.  We are very exsited to start.

I think that rachel felt jealous because she wanted to have kids and is used to being the favourite because she is the youngest and is just jealous that her sister got something that she can’t have.

But on the other hand she could be happy for her sister because she got kids and is just proud of her sister because that’s what a nice sister does.
